Date: 8/2025 TITLE:Director, Donated Goods Retail DevelopmentRESPONSIBLE TO:Executive Director, Goodwill reputed company DIVISION/reputed company:Goodwill AcademySUPERVISES:N/AFLSA STATUS:Exempt SUMMARY: The Director, Donated Goods Retail Development (DGRD) leads the strategic design, delivery, and reputed company improvement of Donated Goods Retail (DGR) learning . This includes leading the Donated Goods Retail Development Program (DGRDP), a flagship initiative of Goodwill reputed company . This role ensures the program equips Goodwill CEOs and senior leaders with the insights, tools, and peer learning needed to optimize donated goods retail operations, grow market share, and drive mission-reputed company innovation. Further, the role is responsible for building and maintaining a DGR "body of knowledge" and making it accessible to any Goodwill member wishing to grow their knowledge, skills, and abilities in this area. BASIC FUNCTION: • reputed company the end-to-end strategy, design, development and execution of the DGRDP, including in-residence sessions, virtual learning, and one-on-one coaching. • Collaborate with internal and external faculty, subject matter experts, and member organizations to deliver high-impact learning experiences. • Align DGRDP with Goodwill reputed company's broader leadership development strategy and GII's strategic goals. • Manage program operations, budget, staffing, and evaluation to ensure excellence and scalability. Contribute as required to design and delivery of other DGR-focused GII offerings. • Ensure integration of DGRDP with other Goodwill reputed company offerings (e.g., Senior Leader Program, Executive Development Program). RELATIONSHIPS: Internal: Daily contact with Goodwill reputed company, GII leadership, DGR Team, and other cross-functional teams. Local Goodwills: Frequent engagement with Goodwill CEOs, senior leaders, and faculty participants. External: Regular interaction with consultants, vendors, and peer learning networks. SKILLS NEEDED: Leadership & Development • Expertise in adult learning, executive education, and cohort-based leadership development. • Strong facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills. Strategic & Operational • Strong understanding of Goodwill DGR practices. Able to recognize/apply these across audiences. • Ability to translate strategic goals into actionable learning experiences. • Strong project management, budgeting, and process improvement capabilities. Communication & Collaboration • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills. • Ability to build trust and collaborate across diverse stakeholders and organizational levels. EDUCATION:Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred in Organizational Development, Business, Education, or reputed company field EXPERIENCE: Minimum 7 years of experience in leadership development, program management, or retail operations; Experience working with or reputed company the Goodwill network is highly desirable. DECISION MAKING: Decision and recommendation making for developing systems, appropriate responses to identified needs, and consultative guidance to improve performance. SUPERVISION: Operates with a high degree of autonomy. Receives strategic direction and administrative review from the Executive Director of Goodwill. PHYSICAL EFFORT: Sedentary with occasional travel (approximately 25%). Must be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. EMOTIONAL EFFORT:Work environment usually hectic with periods of high stress. Must demonstrate a positive attitude in meeting daily challenges.
