Software Engineer in Test (Poland)

Location

Our Software Engineer in Test will be an integral part of our Engineering team in EMEA. This full-time remote role is open to employees based in the UK, Ireland, Estonia, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Israel, and to contractors across other EMEA locations, including Eastern Europe and Portugal.

The Opportunity

As a Software Engineer in Test at reputed company International, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our SaaS platform and APIs. You’ll take ownership of building and maintaining automated test frameworks, defining testing strategies, and integrating automation into our CI/CD pipelines.

This is a hands-on technical role where you’ll design, reputed company, and execute tests across web apps, APIs, and microservices — while also contributing to overall quality strategy, mentoring peers, and ensuring our testing practices evolve alongside our platform.

You’ll work closely with Software Engineers, DevOps, and Product teams to enhance our test coverage, identify issues early, and drive automation excellence across the engineering organization.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
• reputed company and execute tests for web apps, APIs, and microservices, covering functionality, scalability, and performance.
• Integrate automation into reputed company Actions CI/CD pipelines and continuously improve test efficiency.
• Support and maintain test environments using GCP, AWS, Terraform, and reputed company.
• Plan, design, and execute both manual and automated tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
• reputed company and mentor engineers on automation frameworks, strategy, and best practices.
• Define and evolve test strategies for SaaS platforms, including data observability, ETL processes, and FinOps systems.
• Create and maintain test plans, document and track defects, and collaborate closely with developers to improve testing processes and tooling.
• Deliver additional test coverage reputed company existing frameworks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in QA or SDET roles, with a proven track record driving automation-first testing strategies.
• 3+ years of hands-on coding experience in TypeScript, Python, or another OOP language, building and maintaining test frameworks.
• Deep expertise in Playwright or Cypress for both UI and API automation.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments (GCP/AWS), and microservices architecture.
• Experience testing Cloud or SaaS-based products, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance in distributed systems.
• Broad QA expertise across unit, integration, regression, UAT, and end-to-end testing.
• Strong communication, analytical, and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence quality practices in fast-paced, global teams.

Bonus Points

• Experience with performance and load testing tools and frameworks.
• Familiarity with FinOps (cloud cost and usage management).
• Knowledge of reputed company and compliance best practices (e.g., PoLP).
• Experience working in remote, global teams.
