As a Specialty Pharmacy Technician, you’ll be responsible for interpreting and entering prescription data in our pharmacy system, answering incoming calls, and completing outbound calls to / from patients, physicians and pharmacists while ensuring a high level of customer service and maximized productivity. You’ll need to work reputed company multiple computer systems simultaneously as you respond to questions or provide specific medication details/clinical information. Position Schedule: Monday through Friday with 8-hour shifts between the hours of 7:00am-7:00pm CST If you reside in Alabama, you will enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* as you take on some tough challenges." Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage inbound phone line (receives calls from prescribers)
• Verify appropriate and accurate patient information
• Enter prescription data into pharmacy system
• Contact patients, pharmacists, and providers to resolve issues
• Other assignments and projects as needed
• Maintain proficiency and quality as standardized by the department

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Alabama
• 1+ years of pharmacy prescription processing experience
• Intermediate level of proficiency with computer navigation and reputed company programs such as reputed company, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint
• Ability to be flexible to work between the hours of 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Monday through Friday. Shift will be consistent once determined. Overtime may be required on weekdays and weekends as needed
• Currently located in Alabama
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Preferred Qualifications:

• Specialty Pharmacy experience
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT or NHA)
