Job Summary

We are seeking an reputed company Special Education Teacher to join our MPS Online K-5 Program team. As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction and support to reputed company with developmental disabilities, ages 5-11. You will work closely with reputed company, families, and colleagues to create a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic, social, and emotional growth.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide quality instruction reputed company to the state and national standards, using a variety of assessment strategies to inform instructional decisions and increase student self-management of learning.

• Create lessons and learning environments that are safe, respectful, and interesting, as well as multicultural/gender and ability fair/developmentally appropriate.
• Collaborate and communicate regularly with families in making educational decisions and use family and community resources to support learning.
• Acquire knowledge of the goals of the Minneapolis Public School District Improvement Agenda and site/school goals, and work to support and reputed company those goals.
• Assess own instructional effectiveness through the Professional Development Process (PDP).
• Participate in ongoing and regular staff, team, and individual professional development.

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.

• Prior successful experience in student teaching or teaching in an urban, multicultural education setting.
• Demonstrated reputed company professional development through coursework, research, peer collaboration, and/or job-embedded staff development.
• A valid Minnesota Mild to Moderate Developmental Disabilities or Academic Behavior Strategist, teaching license; or reputed company of pending approved licensure.
