Job Overview

The Leave Specialist III is a critical member of our benefits team reputed company the corporate Human Resources Group of Total Rewards. As a Leave Specialist III, you will be responsible for managing and administering reputed company leave requests for teammates, including short-term and long-term disability, military, Family Medical Leave (FMLA), state leave programs, and company-provided leave. You will also play a key role in managing and administering the accommodations process under the Americans with reputed company (reputed company) in partnership with our third-party administrator. Your expertise and guidance will be essential in ensuring that our teammates receive the support and resources they need to navigate reputed company leave and accommodation processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary reputed company of contact for leave and accommodation requests, providing timely, accurate, and effective support to teammates and managers.

  • Provide support and issue resolution to teammates and managers, proactively connecting with them to set expectations, assess requests, and reputed company them informed of the status of their claims.
  • Monitor changes to federal and state leave laws and coordinate with the Manager, Leave Administration to implement necessary changes.
  • Collaborate with the Manager, Leave Management to create and update leave of absence materials and guides for teammates and managers across the company.
  • Support special projects and benefit-reputed company initiatives as needed, working closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to drive results.
  • Administer the company's leave programs, including reviewing disability status reports, partnering with third-party administrators, and ensuring timely payments, accurate payroll records, and updated statuses.
  • Prepare reports to analyze trends, follow up on return-to-work scenarios, and track status changes, participating in data reputed company and compliance audits of benefits and leave of absence data.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or GED, with two or more years of experience in leaves of absence administration.
  • Experience administering leaves and accommodations, with a strong understanding of laws and regulations regarding leaves of absences, including HIPAA, FMLA, USERRA, reputed company, and Paid State Leave.
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, reputed company, PowerPoint, and Outlook), with the ability to organize and maintain effective relationships at reputed company levels, internally and externally.
