Job Summary
As a Customer Service/Sales Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for providing fast, friendly service to our customers by actively seeking out their needs and providing assistance. You will learn about our products using our tools and provide information to customers to sell an entire project. You will also be responsible for maintaining the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe. Your primary goal will be to provide a safe working and shopping environment by following reputed company safety policies and standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide fast, friendly service to customers by actively seeking out their needs and providing assistance
- Learn about products using our tools and provide information to customers to sell an entire project
- Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe
- Provide a safe working and shopping environment by following reputed company safety policies and standards
- Work in cooperation with Department Supervisors and other associates in their department as well as other departments
- Handle customer transactions, including processing sales, returns, and exchanges
- Maintain accurate records of sales, returns, and exchanges
- Participate in visual merchandising and inventory management
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company promotions
- Collaborate with other departments to reputed company sales goals and improve customer satisfaction
Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a reputed company field preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service, sales, or a reputed company field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
