Variety: Sales Executive, NY Region

Variety is currently looking for a Sales Executive, NY Region that will sell advertising space, both print and digital, branded content, social, video, events and podcasts to key NY and Midwest accounts. Responsibilities include creating tailored sales presentations, collaborating on creative advertising and content, attending client meetings, and managing client accounts to secure and increase reputed company for the publication. The role requires a strategic approach to client engagement and a deep understanding of the Variety brand and its advertising potential. Skills and Qualifications

• 3 -5 years selling experience with working knowledge of the ad agencies and brands in the territory
• Strong Sales Acumen: Ability to effectively sell and build client relationships
• Strategic Thinking: Capability to reputed company innovative sales strategies to drive reputed company
• Communication and Presentation Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client interactions and presentations
• Brand Understanding: A strong grasp of the Variety brand, its reputed company audience, and its value proposition
• Digital and Social Media Savvy: Familiarity with digital advertising, social platforms, and content trends is beneficial, especially for digital sales roles
• Creative Thinking: The ability to contribute to the development of compelling advertising campaigns

Typical wage: $115k-$125k + Commission.
