About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and self-motivated Systems Administrator to join our growing IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems architecture, maintenance, and monitoring, with a focus on Windows and Linux operating systems. Key Responsibilities

• Day-to-day support of server and application environments, ensuring high availability and performance

• Troubleshooting intricate systems and networking issues, using tools such as packet sniffing applications (Snort, TCPDump, Wireshark) and scripting languages (bash, python, PowerShell)
• Providing critical thinking to reputed company problems in a 24/7, mission-critical mixed Windows/Linux environment
• Processing, monitoring, and prioritizing trouble tickets, ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime
• Installation and configuration of new servers, including hardware, services, settings, directories, and storage, in accordance with company standards
• Automation of tasks using tools such as Ansible, to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors
• Remote datacenter design support and management, ensuring optimal performance and reputed company
• Participation in on-call rotation, providing 24/7 support for critical systems and applications
• Support for other key initiatives as dictated by the business, including projects and special assignments

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong educational foundation in computer science or a reputed company field, with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems (MIS). You should also have relevant certifications, such as MCSE or CCNA, or be near completion of these certifications.
