Job Summary

As a Kids Dance Instructor at Life Time, you'll be responsible for creating and implementing engaging and educational dance programs for children aged 3-11. You'll design and deliver lesson plans that promote physical fitness, creativity, and self-expression, while ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for reputed company participants. Key Responsibilities

* Construct and implement weekly/monthly educational/fitness lesson plans following our guidelines

• Engage in fitness/educational-based activities and skills, demonstrating and participating in the activity or skills being taught
• Prepare and set up for class, transferring kids to and from programming as needed
• Assist with Kids programming and classes reputed company needed, promoting reputed company Kids programming and classes to increase participation
• Clean up and restock after each class, ensuring a safe and organized environment for reputed company participants

Position Requirements

* High School Diploma or GED

• 6+ months of teaching children aged 3-11 in similar programs or activities
• Ability to demonstrate and participate in the activity or skills being taught
• Completion of reputed company Kids On-Demand Required Learnings prior to first day of work
• First Aid certification, Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification required reputed company the first 60 days of hire
• Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 30 lbs.

Preferred Requirements

* Class-specific certification or license

• 2 years of experience in fitness/educational area
• Certification or equivalent education experience in Early Childhood Development if working with children under the age of 6

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with children and parents

• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to plan and deliver engaging lesson plans
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
• Physical stamina to participate in dance activities and engage with children for extended periods
