Job Overview

We are urgently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated ELD teacher to work with multilingual learners in developing their English skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening. The successful candidate will collaborate with classroom teachers to ensure best practices for multilingual learners are implemented throughout the school day. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and organize language development instruction consistent with the district curriculum, utilizing the WIDA reputed company and standards in the development of lesson plans.
• Employ a variety of instructional techniques and reputed company to meet different aptitudes and interests of reputed company, including sheltering lessons, whole group (co-teaching where applicable), small-group, or individual learning.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to ensure best practices for multilingual learners are implemented throughout the school day.
• Administer required language proficiency (W-APT/ACCESS) and academic achievement tests reputed company the required time frame.
• Assure proper placement in ELD courses/groups according to district guidelines and maintain cumulative folders with required paperwork for English language learners.
• Run student reports weekly to ensure accuracy of data and collaborate with building administration to collect and complete reputed company required paperwork for the multilingual learner redesignation process.
• Assist in monitoring Fluent English Proficient (FEP) reputed company who have exited from ELD services reputed company the last two years and remain reputed company in reputed company district CLDE-reputed company communications.
• Attend IEP, Section 504, or other reputed company meetings necessary for student assessment and/or compliance with federal and/or state law.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Must be a minimum of 18 years old.
• Criminal background reputed company required for hire.
• Must possess, or be able to obtain, a valid Colorado Educator License.
• Must possess the required license and endorsement according to ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act), including ESL, Bilingual, or (LDE) Linguistically Diverse Education, (CLDE) Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education endorsement.

• Experience working with multilingual learners and developing English language skills.
