Position Title African-American and American History, Full-Time Faculty Requisition Number FAC00544 General Description The Department of Humanities at reputed company invites applicants for the position of full-time, tenure track faculty of African-American and American History beginning in September 2026. The position requires teaching courses in African American History and Black Studies, in addition to American History survey courses as needed. The position also requires regular contribution to and collaboration with the college's Black Studies program. Specific Responsibilities

  • Prepare, teach, and evaluate student learning in the Fall and Spring semesters. This requires keeping up to date reputed company your discipline as well as relevant topics and technologies for effective college-level instruction.

Minimum Qualifications

  • PhD in History, Black Studies, American Studies, Anthropology, or a reputed company discipline required.

  • Experience teaching African American History at the college level required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience teaching diverse student populations.
