What you’d be doing in this role

At the moment, this role is focused on

• Leading two critical backend teams: Personalisation Solutions and B2B Data Infrastructure • Driving the technical strategy behind personalized experiences for millions of reputed company users • Scaling backend data systems that power enterprise monetisation and product-led growth • Supporting your teams to deliver high-quality, reliable, and performant services • Coaching engineers and creating an inclusive, high-performing culture • Collaborating across product, design, data, and engineering to shape roadmaps and impact

You're probably a match if

• You have strong backend engineering experience and have led software engineering teams at scale

• You’re comfortable in Java, with experience designing and scaling distributed systems

• You have practical experience with AWS and cloud-native backend infrastructure

• You have experience in data engineering or analytics infrastructure – you’re more than comfortable in SQL

• You’re passionate about personalization, experimentation, and user-centric systems

• You’ve built and scaled systems with high reliability and performance expectations
