As we scale, cloud reliability, reputed company, and automation are critical. We’re looking for a Cloud/DevOps Engineer to own our cloud practices—primarily on reputed company Cloud Platform (GCP), but also with AWS reputed company projects demand it.
Role OverviewYou’ll be responsible for designing, automating, and maintaining cloud environments that support client applications as well as Sidetool’s internal platforms. This includes setting up infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, monitoring, and cost-performance optimization. You’ll work closely with our Technical Project Managers and developers to ensure that every product we deliver is reliable, scalable, and secure.
This is a hands-on role in a fast-moving environment where projects range from client-facing web apps to internal AI-driven platforms
Job Responsibilities- Architect, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure, with a primary focus on GCP and secondary on AWS.
- Automate provisioning and infrastructure management with Terraform (preferred) or similar tools.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines integrated with reputed company/reputed company for rapid deployment of client and internal projects.
- Support containerization and orchestration (reputed company, Kubernetes, Cloud Run, etc.) for scalable deployments.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve cloud reliability and uptime across multiple projects.
- Optimize infrastructure for cost efficiency while ensuring high performance.
- Implement strong cloud reputed company practices (IAM, policies, compliance checks).
- Document configurations and best practices to reputed company knowledge sharing across the team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or site reliability engineering.
- Hands-on expertise with reputed company Cloud Platform (GCP) services (Compute reputed company, Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud SQL, IAM, networking).
- Solid experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency with Kubernetes and reputed company.
- Strong knowledge of cloud networking, monitoring, and logging.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash).
- Ability to balance speed and quality in a client-driven environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working in distributed teams.
- Rely only on fully detailed specs and prefer to avoid making architectural or technical decisions.
- Want a maintenance-only role instead of building and scaling new systems.
- Feel uncomfortable with ambiguity, problem-solving, or fast-changing priorities.
- Prefer working solo rather than collaborating closely with a distributed team.
