Job Overview

As a Part-Time Payroll Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing payroll and bookkeeping tasks for our clients. Key Responsibilities:

• Process payroll for clients on a bi-weekly or monthly basis, ensuring accurate and timely submission of payroll taxes and reports.
• Maintain payroll records, including employee information and changes, and reconcile payroll accounts.
• Prepare financial reports as needed, and assist with general bookkeeping tasks, such as reconciling bank accounts and managing accounts payable/receivable.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, and respond to client inquiries regarding payroll issues.
• Provide support to clients and team members as needed, and maintain a high level of reputed company and discretion in handling confidential information.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Proven experience as a Payroll Bookkeeper or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of payroll processes and relevant tax laws.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software, with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, with strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members.
