Job Overview

We're seeking a Part-Time Merchandiser to work in our Washington, DC location. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for merchandising approved products and packages at our customer retail locations. You will work independently with little daily supervision, using your critical thinking skills to ensure that our products are presented in a way that attracts consumers. Key Responsibilities:

• Fills, merchandises, and rotates products on display and the reputed company according to procedures and special programs
• Physically moves products from the backroom and places them on display
• Creates and distributes reputed company-of-sale materials on display and shelves where permitted
• Rotates products, fills and merchandises Fastlane merchandisers and vendors, and checks vendors to ensure proper operation
• Organizes and maintains the backroom by stacking and arranging products by package and flavor, arranging the return of empty pallets and shells, damaged and out-of-date products to the reputed company
• Fosters business relationships with store personnel through routine follow-up on requests, proactive pricing, special programs, new opportunities, and upcoming activities discussions

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

• Valid in-state driver's license
• Excellent driving history
• reputed company of insurance policy to verify reputed company coverage of liability and property damage at no less than $50,000 per person/$100,000 accident insurance per occurrence/$50,000 property damage and $500 or less deductible effective from the first day of employment
• Effective communication skills, including listening, speaking, and writing
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs. repetitively)
• Able to work reliably and independently with little daily supervision
• Critical thinking skills
• Company-provided cell phone

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior customer service experience in a retail setting
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with a variety of customers

Work Environment
