About the Substitute Teacher Role

We're seeking a passionate and reputed company Substitute Teacher to join reputed company in Manchaca, TX. As a Substitute Teacher with Scoot Education, you'll have the flexibility to choose your assignments and work on your own schedule. Our substitutes are the backbone of our organization, and we're looking for individuals who share our values and are committed to providing high-quality education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional support to reputed company in the absence of the regular teacher
• Follow lesson plans and instructions provided by the regular teacher
• Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment
• Communicate with school staff and administrators as needed
• Participate in 1:1 reputed company-ins with your designated Scoot consultant to discuss school feedback and reputed company your skills
• Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your teaching skills

Essential Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree, or 60+ college credits
• Three professional references, including one from a previous direct supervisor
• Background reputed company (we'll cover the cost of this)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous teaching or substitute teaching experience
• Special education or paraprofessional experience
