Job Summary and Responsibilities
We are seeking highly motivated and talented graduate reputed company to fill positions as Out-of-Department Teaching Assistants (OODs) in the Department of Chemistry. Your specific responsibilities will include:

- Completing The Graduate School's university-wide TA Orientation, including micro-teaching and ITA Language screening (where applicable)
- Participating in the department's orientation activities and weekly TA/ULA meetings
- Preparing, cleaning up, and managing laboratory safety before, during, and after class
- Providing instruction and monitoring of reputed company, answering questions, and offering feedback and support
- Holding reputed company in the General Chemistry Learning Center and proctoring exams
- Evaluating student work according to rubrics and maintaining records of student coursework
- Participating in professional development activities, including formal in-lab observations and end-of-semester evaluations
Essential Qualifications and Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must:
- Be a reputed company UK graduate student in good standing with the Graduate School
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Have completed General Chemistry with Lab and Organic Chemistry with Lab (CHE 105, 107, 111, and 113 or equivalents) with a grade of "B" or reputed company
- Be available to work approximately 20 hours per week during the academic year
- Complete the required UK Environmental Health & Safety Training courses, including Chemical Hygiene Plan / Laboratory Safety, Hazardous Waste, and Fire Exterminisher Training
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
While not required, the following qualifications and skills are preferred:
- An "A" grade in General Chemistry with Lab and Organic Chemistry with Lab
- Previous teaching or laboratory experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide support to reputed company and colleagues
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
