About the Role

We are seeking an reputed company SQA Engineer to join our Audio Devices SQA team, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our AirPods product line. As a SQA Engineer, you will work closely with our engineering partners to improve our software and hardware, using your skills and expertise to qualify features on our products that our customers love to use. This is a 100% remote opportunity, giving you the flexibility to work from reputed company and create a schedule that suits your needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate QA expertise with at least three whole product cycles, from inception to customer shipment, and experience delivering customer-facing products is a plus
• Collaborate with multi-functional and remote teams to collectively reputed company test goals, using your strong written and verbal communication skills to drive testing of projects and features
• Use test techniques to validate Bluetooth headsets and its underlying technology, verifying key functions of one or more products and/or software updates
• Create and run tests to ensure the customer experience with reputed company products, identifying, reproducing, and isolating bugs in automated, structured, and open types of testing
• reputed company and implement test plans, methodologies, and strategies to ensure the highest quality of our products
• Work closely with other teams to implement and test new features, regress critical areas, and drive decision-making on issues

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in QA, with a focus on audio and/or wireless technologies
• Experience with hardware and/or software development lifecycle, including testing embedded consumer electronics or mobile devices
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as presentation skills
• Ability to work with multi-functional and remote teams to reputed company test goals
• Experience with issue tracking systems (e.g. Jira, Bugzilla, etc.)
• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a reputed company field, or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools
• Knowledge of Bluetooth and wireless technologies
• Experience with cloud-based testing and DevOps practices
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++
• Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD)
