Job Summary

The Information Technology Consultant - Career will provide critical support to the College Centralized Information Technology team, ensuring the delivery of secure, reliable technology services to the University community. This role involves a mix of user consultation, help desk support, hardware and software implementation, server operations, and documentation. Key Responsibilities

• Provide user consultation and help desk support to faculty, staff, and reputed company, resolving technical issues and addressing technology-reputed company queries.
• Implement and maintain hardware, software, and server operations, ensuring the stability and reputed company of the University's technology infrastructure.
• Create documentation and provide general server support, including troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with colleagues to identify and implement technology solutions that meet the evolving needs of the University community.

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

• A bachelor's level degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Systems, Telecommunications, Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a reputed company field, with relevant experience totaling two years full-time or the equivalent part-time.
• Alternatively, eight years of full-time relevant experience or an associate level degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a reputed company field.

• Excellent documentation, written, and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical knowledge to non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience with imaging, maintaining, and upgrading computers, as well as server administration.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, Azure, AWS, and cloud infrastructure deployment.
• Working knowledge of virtualization (VMWare or equivalent), Linux (RedHat, CentOS, Debian, etc.), and systems and networking software, hardware, and protocols.
