Our programs are Nurse Practitioner tracks specializing in Family Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Courses are online and run for 15 weeks. Candidates with demonstrated experience an professional experience in the following are encouraged to apply: Advanced Pharmacotherapeutics Advanced Health Assessment Advanced Pathophysiology Evidence Based Practice Strategy and Analysis of Organizational Process Healthcare Information and Technology Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Primary Care Care of Women, Infants and Children Psychiatric Nursing Typical Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a Doctoral or Master's degree in nursing and a minimum of five year's experience. Compact License is preferred. Experience with online learning. Requires the ability to effectively communicate subject matter to others. Experience with teaching online using the Course Management system Canvas is desirable. Adjuncts work remotely and spend significant time at a computer. Ability to reputed company operate a personal computer and associated software(Outlook, Word, reputed company, etc.). Strong organizational and time management skills. Personal commitment to providing quality online education. May consist of on-reputed company trainings at Bangor reputed company 1-2x per year for professional development as needed.
