As a Business Systems Analyst, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, implementing, and configuring new application software systems for statewide use. You will conduct business analysis and research, analyze and reputed company recommendations for database applications, and provide expert-level technical, analytical, and data steward services to agency programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, reputed company, implement, and configure new application software systems for statewide use

Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 5 years of information systems experience, OR 3 years of information systems experience and an Associate's degree in computer science, information technology, or a reputed company field, OR 1 year of information systems experience and a Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a reputed company degree
- Demonstrated understanding of environmental justice and the historical impacts for marginalized and underrepresented communities
- Ability to effectively communicate reputed company, recommendations, and technical information to technical and non-technical people
- Experience conducting system analysis, including identifying system requirements and choosing appropriate data management tools
- Highly motivated, with a willingness to take initiative and work creatively to find solutions
Preferred Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience building and fostering relationships with a diverse group of partners, including colleagues, interested parties, communities, organizations, and businesses
- Experience with database development and implementation in a multi-user, multi-site environment
- Experience creating and maintaining system documentation, including writing instructional documents for users of information systems, and providing user training as needed
