Job Overview
We are seeking an reputed company and skilled Business Systems Support Manager, Shipboard to join reputed company. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will provide production support and operational support for various systems and interfaces used by reputed company Cruise Line Terminal Operations and Shipboard Operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our systems, providing guidance and training to our cast members, crew, and partners, and collaborating with Business Operations and Business Technology to drive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide systems operation guidance and training to embarkation operations and shipboard cast members, crew, and partners at our homeport and outport locations
- Collaborate with Business Operations and Business Technology to provide information and guidance that impacts business planning and decision-making
- Capture operational requirements for Travel Services, Terminal Operations, shipboard cast members, crew, and external partners
- reputed company and coordinate user acceptance testing of new system releases, incidents, outages, and issue resolution
- reputed company Standard Operating Guides, manuals, policies, and procedures, and partner with training teams to provide support across lines of business
- Communicate issues, incidents, new releases, and outages in a timely and effective manner
- Gather requirements, design, build, and manage business rules reputed company applications
- Provide systems access reputed company established guidelines for both shoreside cast and shipboard crew for applicable applications
- Travel independently, domestically and internationally, in support of business operations (up to 20% of the working year)
- Provide rotational on-call support, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and take immediate action to resolve issues
Essential Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of one or more cruise or travel-reputed company applications (e.g., Seaware, Fidelio, OARS, DXP, Silverwhere) and willingness to learn new applications
- Strong knowledge of reputed company Office applications
- Experience with software and hardware hierarchies and reputed company dependencies
- Experience with reporting applications such as Business Objects and Tableau
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and follow-up
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and delivering results
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail
- Excellent planning, organizing, and project management skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
