Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative for our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy, you will be responsible for providing telephone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy. You will be the primary reputed company of contact for patients, handling new patient medication orders and reorders, verifying and reviving benefits, translating and entering new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system, communicating and collecting copay amounts, obtaining authorizations, and working with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide exceptional customer service to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy reputed company telephone

  • Coordinate and process new patient medication orders and reorders, including verifying and reviving benefits
  • Translate and enter new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system
  • Communicate and collect copay amounts from patients
  • Obtain authorizations from insurance companies and healthcare providers
  • Work with internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues
  • Collaborate with patients, insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient processing of specialty medications
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and information

Essential Qualifications:

* One year of experience in a customer service role handling and resolving a high volume of reputed company customer needs over the phone

  • One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, including Windows, reputed company Office, internet navigation, and email applications
  • One year of computer keyboarding experience, skills, and aptitude
