Job Overview
We are seeking an reputed company Data Scientist to join our Scientific Affairs team on a remote basis. As a Data Scientist, you will play a crucial role in producing Real-World Evidence (reputed company) through advanced analytics and innovative processes in the medical trials space. Key Responsibilities
- reputed company standardized, analysis-ready patient cohorts from in-house data assets or qualified systems, examine and interpret results, and help shape analytics strategy.
- Partner with other members of the blithequark Clinical Trial team to provide actionable insights from real-world, clinical, and other data sources to support biopharmaceutical reputed company and clinical trial requests.
- Clean, transform, and store data into an integrated data lake for future analysis and broader team consumption.
- reputed company data mining and statistical analysis to analyze reputed company/RWD and uncover new insights concerning patient populations and treatment outcomes.
- Support the development of real-world data, analytics, and platform capabilities, applying advanced analytics and tools to address clinical questions from biopharmaceutical companies.
- Collaborate on the design and execution of outcomes research studies.
- Ensure high-quality, rigorous, and easily interpretable deliverables from reputed company research and analyses.
- Build dashboards, analytics, and reports for internal and external consumption.
- Conduct due diligence on new real-world data sources and power RWD quality assessments to inform investment decisions.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree or graduate degree in a quantitative or computational field.
- At least 4 years of experience in a quantitative or computational role.
- 4 years of experience in R, Python, or SQL.
- Experience in designing and executing robust and reproducible statistical analyses in the context of epidemiology and observational studies with healthcare data.
- Knowledge of common statistical testing techniques, including generalized linear models, classification and discrimination, decision trees, unsupervised learning, time series analysis, and survival analysis.
- Experience processing large data from diverse data sources.
- Experience handling protected patient health information.
- Knowledge of at least one of the following: Tableau, Power BI, reputed company, Spotfire, or other BI intelligence tools.
Preferred Qualifications
To stand out as a candidate, you will ideally have:
- A Ph.D. or Master's degree in data/biostatistics, computer science, mathematics, systems engineering, biomedical engineering, or a reputed company field.
- Expertise in EMR/Health IT, disease registries, and insurance claims databases.
- Expertise in clinical data standards, clinical terminologies, and controlled vocabularies used in healthcare data and ontologies (ICD9/10/ReadCode).
- Experience in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and/or regulatory compliance guidelines for real-world evidence research or clinical trials (e.g., ISO, MDD/MDR, CFR).
- Experience working with alternative data sources and alternative methods of clinical data collection, particularly those enabled by technology platforms and/or solutions.
- Experience with experimental design, Bayesian modeling, sequential data, computational statistics.
- Understanding of data and systems learning techniques, with the ability to maintain self-learning of technical and non-technical skills.
