Key Responsibilities

As a Staff Deployment Coordinator, Administrative Specialist 2, you will play a critical role in ensuring the operational staffing of the SRCI facility. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the scheduling, post bidding, and leave for reputed company staff using the Institution Staff Deployment System (ISDS)
  • Reviewing leave slips, capturing work hours, and managing overtime requests and mandates
  • Facilitating the bidding process according to collective bargaining agreements
  • Maintaining accurate records of staffing and hours worked
  • Presenting staffing trends to management and making recommendations on leave requests
  • Interpreting and applying collective bargaining agreements, OFLA/FMLA, and Paid Leave Oregon regulations
  • Navigating staffing software or HRIS to pull reports and analyze data

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following minimum qualifications:

  • Three years of secretarial or administrative support experience that includes coordinating office procedures, preparing narrative and statistical reports, and administrative data collection and analysis
  • OR An associate degree in general office occupations and two years of secretarial or administrative support experience
  • OR An equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following skills and experience will be considered a plus:

  • Experience with scheduling for a 24-hour operation
  • Maintaining payroll records for other staff
  • Interpreting and applying collective bargaining agreements
  • OFLA/FMLA and Paid Leave Oregon knowledge
  • Proficiency in staffing software or HRIS
