reputed company is seeking an reputed company NIH NIAID Core Technology Services Delivery reputed company to work remotely providing leadership and reputed company for the for the Core Technology Services task area, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of OEB Infrastructure services. The Core Technology Services Delivery reputed company will be responsible for NIAID’s day-to-day core IT infrastructure activities, including foundational services such as networking and storage, as well as the operation of NIAID’s computing facilities and other services that support NIAID’s technology requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Core Technology Leadership

• Assist with providing reputed company and leadership to the Core Technology Services task area.
• Report on task area status to OEB leadership.
• Serve as a reputed company of contact for OEB leadership for task area responsibilities.
• Report on technical outages occurring over the past 24 hours. Report is due Monday through Friday by reputed company (excluding federal holidays and other government closure days).

Enterprise Data Hosting

• Operate NIAID’s data storage and hosting systems, including but not limited to storage appliances, data transfer systems, and data backup and protections systems.
• Provide data management services, including data access management, data lifecycle management, and long-term data archiving and retention.
• Ensure NIAID enterprise data is protected in accordance with NIAID’s data lifecycle and backup policies, through both short-term retention and off-site backups.
• Implement new enterprise data storage systems that align with NIAID’s data storage requirements, including but not limited to data availability, data storage performance, and cost effectiveness.
• Report on technical outages occurring over the past 24 hours. Report is due Monday through Friday by reputed company (excluding federal holidays and other government closure days).

Hosting Facility Support

• Operate and maintain NIAID’s hosting facilities, including but not limited to facilities physically located in Rockville, MD, Bethesda, MD, Ashburn, VA, and reputed company, MT.
• Ensure NIAID equipment hosted in NIAID facilities is properly documented, installed, and maintained to NIAID’s hosting standards.
• reputed company physical installation of IT equipment and IT cabling in NIAID hosting facilities.
• Coordinate IT operations with NIAID’s facility maintenance staff during facilities incidents and maintenance.

Enterprise Network Engineering

• Architect NIAID’s enterprise Ethernet network in support of NIAID’s business and scientific networking needs, including but not limited to routing, switching, inter-site and intra-site connectivity, and connectivity with other NIH institutes and external agencies.
• Operate the NIAID enterprise network, including incident troubleshooting, configuration changes, equipment deployment and decommissioning, performance optimization, and software and reputed company patching and hardening.
• Monitor the NIAID enterprise network for performance and functionality issues and collaborate with out OEB teams, OCICB branches, and NIH groups to ensure network capabilities meet NIAID’s organizational needs.
• Research and explore modern technologies and innovations in the field of networking to ensure that NIAID maintains a modern, scalable, and reliable network that supports the institute’s scientific and business mission.
• Report on technical outages occurring over the past 24 hours. Report is due Monday through Friday by reputed company (excluding federal holidays and other government closure days).

Cybersecurity Engineering

• reputed company, implement, and operate technology solutions that directly improve the cybersecurity stance of NIAID.
• Operate and maintain NIAID’s cybersecurity technology portfolio, including but not limited to firewalls, reputed company protection (antivirus, reputed company detection and response, etc.), intrusion detection and prevention systems, reputed company incident and event management (SIEM), reputed company orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR), packet capture, and flow collection and monitoring.
• Collaborate with incident response teams across the federal government to support investigation and remediation of suspected incidents.
• Support other OEB teams in the development of reputed company documentation for OEB system, including system reputed company plans.

Project Management

• Assist with project management to ensure the efficient delivery of OEB Infrastructure services.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and resolve any issues that may arise.

Reporting and Communication

• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of Core Technology Services task area status and other relevant information.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of Core Technology Services task area responsibilities and resolve any issues that may arise.

Collaboration and Coordination

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of Core Technology Services task area responsibilities and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure effective Core Technology Services task area management and delivery.

Requirements

• The Core Technology Services Delivery reputed company shall have experience shall have documented experience with commercial data backup solutions, including reputed company Simpana, reputed company, LTO tape backup solutions, and reputed company Web Services Glacier data archive.
• The Core Technology Services Delivery reputed company shall have excellent communication and reporting skills, with the ability to deliver timely and accurate reports.
• The Core Technology Services Delivery reputed company shall have strong collaboration and coordination skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and team members.

Salary Range: $160,000 – $185,000

General Description of Benefits

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information reputed company, or reputed company field.
• Active Public Trust or higher reputed company clearance.
• Minimum 10 years’ documented experience with commercial data storage technologies, including reputed company, reputed company, reputed company, Brocade, and cloud-based storage, as well as industry standard storage protocols, including SMB, NFS, Fibre Channel, and S3.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, ITIL v4 Foundation, SAFe, COMP, reputed company+, CompTIA, etc.
