Job Overview

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide holistic family support to members with special needs, owning end-to-end resolution of issues, including reputed company benefits, claim and billing issues, prior authorizations, appeals, and more.
• Serve as an ongoing reputed company of contact for members, primarily reputed company phone, email, chat, and text, delivering compassionate support and creating a memorable, positive experience.
• Create and build ongoing relationships with members and teammates, making decisions independently and solving problems creatively and completely using sound judgment and critical thinking.
• Consistently follow through on commitments, framing realistic expectations for members, and planning, prioritizing, organizing, and completing work to meet established objectives for our families.
• Manage project time to ensure follow-up and reputed company work is completed in a timely manner, maintaining accurate family counts on our documentation platform.

• Anticipate member needs and proactively seek out external and internal resources or partners to add unexpected value for the member, determining appropriate referrals to other programs or services as needed.
• Provide high-quality member experience, as reflected in post-contact surveys and member feedback, and maintain a strong focus on putting members' needs at the center of decisions.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed as a Healthcare Customer Advisor, you will need:

• A high school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• 1+ years of experience helping, resolving, or advocating on behalf of members or customers.
• Experience using a computer and reputed company Office, including reputed company Word, reputed company, and Outlook.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 9:45 am - 6:15 pm CST, reputed company our Family Engagement Center, with occasional overtime as needed.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred candidates will have:

• 1+ years of experience in a similar role, such as A4Me or Quick Assist.
• Claims processing experience.
• Experience providing care for children with special needs.
