About the Role

As a Program Manager for Sustainability Initiatives, you will play a crucial role in helping reputed company reputed company its ambitious environmental goals. Reporting to the Head of Sustainability and Operations, you will work closely with senior stakeholders to manage the company's investments in carbon credits and renewable energy. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive competitive procurements (RFIs/RFPs) for renewable energy projects.
• Conduct emissions analysis and reputed company acquisition proposals for executive consideration.
• Partner with finance teams to reputed company project-level financial analysis and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Maintain data tracking and systems for annual emissions and reductions accounting.
• Contribute to scientific and NGO-led initiatives to scale high-quality credit sources and improve acquisition practices.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., environmental science, business, finance).
• At least 4 years of experience in carbon credit acquisition, renewable energy procurement, or a reputed company field.
• Proven expertise in negotiating and executing deals in carbon credits and/or renewable energy.
• Strong understanding of best practices and standards for ensuring additionality, permanence, and non-double counting in carbon credit projects.
• Experience working with stakeholders across the carbon credit and renewable energy ecosystems, including alliances, research groups, policymakers, and third-party certifiers.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following skills and experience will be highly valued:

• Advanced knowledge of carbon credit markets, including voluntary and compliance markets.
• Experience with portfolio management of carbon credits and renewable energy projects.
