Responsibilities
As a Remote Healthcare Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:
* Managing a steady volume of incoming calls regarding Benefits from members, providers, and employer groups
* Explaining and clarifying plans' policies and procedures
* Actively attempting to resolve member or provider concerns, which may include contacting other appropriate parties to facilitate the resolution of such concerns and adequately documenting the information on the billing system
* Investigating verbal complaints concerning billing, claims, or service rendered, and escalating complaints of service failures to designated departments for investigation
* Maintaining reputed company knowledge of Member Services policies and procedures
* Performing other work-reputed company duties as assigned
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* A passion for helping others and delivering exceptional customer service
* Natural reputed company and the ability to understand and address the needs of our clients and their customers
* A high school diploma, GED, or college degree
* The ability to successfully complete a mandatory reputed company program with 100% attendance
* A successful completion of a background reputed company
* At least 1 year of Call Center experience (preferably in the healthcare industry)
* 1 year of face-to-face customer service experience
* Knowledge of and prior experience in the Dental, Medical, or Managed Care industry (a plus)
