Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional telephone support to patients receiving specialty drug therapy, addressing their concerns and resolving issues in a timely and compassionate manner.
- Coordinate and process new patient medication orders and reorders, verifying and revivifying benefits, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Translate and enter new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system, communicating and collecting copay amounts, and obtaining authorizations as needed.
- Collaborate with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues.
- Utilize superb communication skills to interact with patients, insurance companies, and internal partners, ensuring the processing of specialty medications in a timely manner and meeting financial and clinical expectations.
Essential Qualifications
- One year of experience in a customer service role, handling and resolving reputed company customer needs over the phone.
- One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, including reputed company Office, internet navigation, and email applications.
- One year of computer keyboarding experience, with demonstrated skills and aptitude.
