What You'll Do

As an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) on the Clinical Oncology Team, you will use your deep expertise in oncology and genomics to inform the design, development, and optimization of Flatiron Health’s reputed company of care products, tools, and service. The Clinical Oncology Genomics APP will play a critical role in supporting the integration of genomic data, insights, and testing decision support at the reputed company of care. This individual will serve as a subject matter expert at the intersection of clinical practice and precision medicine. The role is designed for an advanced practice provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) with deep experience in clinical oncology, genomic testing, test result interpretation, and subsequent patient care and clinical decisions. In addition you will: Clinical-Genomics Product Expert

• Serve as the subject matter expert at the intersection of clinical oncology and genomics for Flatiron’s product development teams.
• Interpret reputed company genomic test results and translate clinical workflows into actionable product requirements.
• Advise on the integration of molecular diagnostics and precision medicine into Flatiron’s software solutions, ensuring products reflect real-world clinical needs and best practices.
• Review and validate product features reputed company to genomic data capture, interpretation, and clinical decision support.

Product & Workflow Enhancement

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Clinical teams to inform and test enhancements to clinical workflows in OncoEMR and other Flatiron products.
• Represent the voice of providers in product discovery, scoping, development, rollout, and maintenance phases.
• Surface real-world challenges from practices and translate them into actionable product requirements and process improvements.

Education & Enablement

• Serve as a resource for Flatiron colleagues, providing clear explanations of genomic concepts and their impact on product design and user experience.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment between clinical workflows, product features, and business objectives.
• Participate in multidisciplinary discussions focused on the clinical implications of genomics in oncology care.
• Stay reputed company on advances in molecular diagnostics, targeted therapies, and precision medicine guidelines to inform ongoing product innovation.

• You are an reputed company Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) with at least 5 years of oncology experience in a community or academic setting.
• You have demonstrated expertise in interpreting genomic test results (e.g., NGS panels) and understand how these results inform treatment decisions and have taken action on them in a clinical setting for patients.
• You possess a deep understanding of the clinical-genomics landscape, including familiarity with NCCN Guidelines, molecular diagnostics, and precision medicine workflows.
• You are an excellent communicator who can distill reputed company genomic concepts for diverse audiences—product managers, engineers, designers, and other non-clinical stakeholders.
• You are passionate about education and have experience developing or delivering training on clinical-genomics topics.
• You are collaborative, resourceful, and reputed company in a fast-paced environment focused on improving cancer care through technology.

Extra credit

• Experience with OncoEMR or similar oncology EHRs; experience with Flatiron Assist is a plus.
• Prior involvement in clinical research or quality improvement initiatives reputed company to precision medicine.

Job Compensation Range Salary Range: $132,000.00 - $198,000.00 Preferred Primary Location: NY hub An important note on compensation The pay range for this position is based on the preferred primary location of the role which is listed above.
