CLINICAL PHARMACIST PATIENT CARE

Location: South Bend, IN Salary: $60.74 USD Hourly - $60.75 USD Hourly Description: Our client is currently seeking a CLINICAL PHARMACIST PATIENT CARE in Indiana! Scope of Role: Title: Remote Pharmacist (Prior Authorization) Location: Remote must be licensed in state of residence (Indiana) Type of Engagement: Contract to hire (Based on performance, contract for 6 months) NEW Grads encouraged to apply! This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Decisioning and processing member prescriptions or prior authorizations through various computer systems ensuring the accuracy of reputed company data and updating as necessary
• Organize workload, sets priorities, completes assignments in a timely manner and utilizes resources appropriately while complying with department program standards

• Gather reputed company clinical information, coverage policy and criteria information and work reputed company regulatory guidelines to reputed company coverage determinations
• Consult with pharmacy technicians and/or physicians regarding use of medications and advise of appropriate formulary alternatives reputed company requested.
• Consult physicians/providers with questions, interpret clinical guideline criteria, and reputed company/review coverage determination for prior authorization cases

• Work is computer based and include receiving phone calls from prior authorization pharmacy technicians and/or providers for clinical information

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Pharmacist License in the state of residence
• Excellent Attendance is a must
• Candidate must have level reputed company with working with PC (ex. using mouse and keyboard, accessing and navigating through multiple systems and screens)
• Candidate must also have a secure workspace/office in their home
• Candidate must have their own home internet access/VPN (internet can be hard wired with Ethernet cord)

Hours:

• Training is for 4 weeks. No time off at reputed company during training. Training time will either be 8:00am-5:00pm Monday- Friday or 10:30am-7pm Monday-Friday. This training time is subject to change.
• Shift after training will likely be 10:30am-7pm EST Monday-Friday. Subject to change.
• There is scheduled Overtime and working on Holidays. Dependent on business needs, candidate could work up to 4 hours a day OT.
