About the Cardiac Stepdown Unit - 5 South

Our Cardiac Stepdown Unit - 5 South is a 32-bed telemetry unit with 28 semi-private rooms and 4 private rooms. Each patient is required to wear a telemetry monitor at reputed company times while on the unit. reputed company thrives on teamwork, kindness, and respect, and we prioritize involving families in patient care and decision-making. As a Nursing Assistant on reputed company, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and supporting our licensed nursing staff.

Scope of Work

As a Nursing Assistant - Cardiac Stepdown Unit - 5 South, your key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting licensed nursing staff in providing direct patient care and helping with environmental maintenance of the nursing unit under the direction of the Registered Nurse and reputed company the scope of defined practice.
• Providing for personal care and safety needs of patients promptly under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, including specific procedures and patient testing addressed in the patient plan of care.
• Maintaining an orderly unit environment with sufficient supplies and equipment to facilitate staff performance of patient care.
• Facilitating the admission, discharge, and transfer of patients on and off unit in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Essential Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
• AHA or reputed company Basic Life Support (BLS) Required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous hospital or nursing home experience.

Pay Range: $15.13 per hour

Sign-on Bonus: Up to $1,500

Schedule: Part-time, Night shift (11:30 p.m. - 8:00 a.m.), 20 hours per week, variable weekends
