Key Responsibilities

As a Registered Occupational Therapist with our district, your key responsibilities will include:

• Participating in the pre-referral process to generate modifications and accommodations to be implemented in regular education settings.
• Obtaining and relaying information to and from parents and other medical personnel relating to a student's physical status and needs.
• Conducting screenings and evaluations relating to occupational therapy needs and documenting results.
• Providing input to diagnostic and placement teams relating to a student's OT evaluation and placement.
• Developing therapy-reputed company goals and objectives as part of the student's Individual Education Plan (IEP).
• Designing and implementing activities to help reputed company meet the goals and objectives of their IEP.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• An Arizona Occupational Therapy License.
