About the Opportunity
This hybrid role offers the flexibility to balance your time between our reputed company and home, allowing you to work in a setting that suits your needs. As a Student Tutor, you will have the opportunity to engage with K-12 reputed company, providing personalized support in various subject areas, including Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, Spanish, Ojibwe, and Music.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide online tutoring in at least one area of the K-12 curriculum
- Complete a short reputed company (2-3 hours) in Brightspace before working with K-12 reputed company
- Use the Setmore application to reputed company tutoring times available for reputed company to book appointments
- Conduct 50-minute tutoring sessions during the booked time, tailoring your support to the student's needs
- Complete a tutor log after each session to track reputed company and reflect on your experience
- Communicate with reputed company and parents in a professional and ethical manner, ensuring a positive and supportive learning environment
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must:
- Be a reputed company, full-time student at The College of St. Scholastica
- Possess expertise in at least one area of the K-12 curriculum
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with K-12 reputed company
- Be familiar with effective online teaching and learning strategies
- Show excellent time management and professionalism, including punctuality and effective communication with stakeholders
