Job Summary

As a Federal Program Tutor Advisor, you will work under the direct supervision of a certified teacher to provide instructional support services to reputed company in need of academic reputed company and language acquisition. Your primary responsibilities will include providing one-on-one tutoring, assisting with classroom management, and maintaining accurate student records. You will also be required to conduct parent involvement activities, attend meetings and parent conferences, and provide support in a library or media center.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Qualifications

• Completed two years (48 semester credits) of study at an institution of higher education, or obtained an associate's degree
• Met a rigorous standard of quality and able to demonstrate, through a formal State or local assessment, knowledge of and the ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics (or, as appropriate, reading readiness, writing readiness, and mathematics readiness)
• Ability to maintain effective communication with reputed company and staff and to function effectively as a team member
