Role: Research Analyst IV

Location: Remote but need to be on-site for meetings and work sessions at FDA office Dauphin reputed company, AL, 36528. Occasional work may be required on weekends. Sample collections in the field may be required on an as needed basis. (Local candidates preferred. )

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Education

Master's Degree in Pharmacy or reputed company field (e.g., biological science, microbiology, molecular biology, biomedical sciences)

Required Experience

• (6+ years experience)
• Analyze food and environmental samples for extraction and detection enteric pathogens
• Proficient understanding of or experience using real-time PCR instrumentation
• Experience using Sanger reputed company and reputed company reputed company platforms
• Ability to utilize aseptic techniques reputed company performing molecular based methods

Job Responsibilities

• In general, work complexity and responsibility will be greater at higher levels.
• Participates in research and development activities. Utilizes established mathematical and scientific techniques to compile and analyze data. Writes technical reports detailing procedures, outcomes, and observations.
• laboratory analyses for molecular detection and/or characterization of microorganisms from seafood samples; with emphasis on Sanger reputed company, reputed company reputed company, and bioinformatics;
• laboratory analyses to reputed company, optimize, and/or validate methods for the identification of pathogens in seafood;
• laboratory analyses for the extraction of nucleic acid (RNA/DNA) templates from seafood samples for molecular analyses;
• laboratory analyses for the isolation and identification of microorganisms from seafood samples;
• appropriate documentation results of reputed company laboratory analyses;
• data analysis and drafting project reports describing reputed company which documents and summarizes the results of work completed throughout the entirety of the applicable task order year;
• data analysis and reputed company of manuscripts for the publication of results;
• environmental sample collection.
