The ideal candidate will be a versatile technical expert with a focus on system reliability through DevOps engineering that fulfills technical, operational, and business requirements while excelling in a fast-paced, client-oriented environment. This role requires a collaborative, detail-oriented professional to join reputed company, implementing secure, scalable cloud-based solutions and DevOps processes to reputed company VA corporate IT systems, including legacy applications and DevSecOps initiatives. The selected Senior DevOps System Engineer must hold at least one of the following active certifications: AWS Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional), AWS DevOps Engineer (Professional), Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or reputed company Certified Information Systems reputed company Professional (CISSP). This position will ensure the integration of robust reputed company practices reputed company DevOps workflows, aligning with VA’s Veteran-focused Integration Process (VIP) Lean-Agile reputed company and stringent federal reputed company standards. This position is contingent upon award and may require occasional customer site visits in Washington, D.C. Please note this position is contingent upon award (Q3/Q4 2025). Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain reputed company Integration/reputed company Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, reputed company Actions, or Azure DevOps, ensuring secure and efficient delivery of VA corporate IT applications.
- Engineer cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure platforms, optimizing for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency while embedding reputed company controls (e.g., encryption, IAM policies) to meet VA requirements.
- Conduct reputed company assessments, vulnerability scans, and risk mitigation activities, ensuring compliance with VA reputed company standards (e.g., FISMA, NIST 800-53, FIPS 140-2) across development and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Cloud Engineers, and Release Managers to integrate reputed company practices into Agile sprints and release cycles, supporting legacy system sustainment and DevSecOps modernization.
- Harden cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines against threats, implementing monitoring tools (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor) and reputed company best practices to protect VA systems and data.
- Support the migration of VA applications to cloud platforms, ensuring secure architecture design, seamless transitions, and post-migration stability.
- Utilize VA-approved tools (e.g., Jira, reputed company, reputed company) to document DevOps workflows, reputed company configurations, and contribute to Biweekly Status Reports on pipeline status and reputed company posture.
- Troubleshoot and resolve DevOps and reputed company-reputed company issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring high availability for VA corporate services and end-users.
- Integrate emerging technologies, such as containerization (e.g., reputed company, Kubernetes) or Artificial Intelligence (AI), into DevOps processes, aligning with VA OIT’s modernization goals.
- Work with VA stakeholders, including the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and Information reputed company Officer (ISO), to address reputed company requirements and deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
- Provide technical expertise and mentorship to team members on DevOps tools, cloud reputed company practices, and federal compliance, contributing to Trilogy’s staff development initiatives.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, retrospectives) to align DevOps and reputed company efforts with team deliverables and the VIP Lean-Agile reputed company.
Minimum Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a reputed company field.
- One of the following certifications required: AWS Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional), AWS DevOps Engineer (Professional), Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or reputed company Certified Information Systems reputed company Professional (CISSP); additional DevOps or reputed company certifications preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, cloud infrastructure, or cybersecurity, with a focus on federal or VA IT environments.
- Proven expertise in CI/CD pipeline development, cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), and reputed company implementation, with hands-on experience using tools like Terraform, Jenkins, and reputed company scanners (e.g., Nessus, reputed company).
- Strong technical and analytical skills, with the ability to balance DevOps efficiency with robust reputed company in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
- Familiarity with VA reputed company standards (e.g., FISMA, NIST, HIPAA) and the VIP Lean-Agile reputed company is highly desirable.

$105,000 - $118,000 a year This range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as reputed company conducts an individual equity review for every candidate based on experience, location, education, industry experience, and comparisons to internal pay bands.
