Job Summary

As a Part-Time Remote Data Entry Clerk - Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for accurately reading, interpreting, and entering prescriptions into our computer system, including calculating dosages, assigning directions, and processing insurance payments in a timely manner. You will also communicate with physician offices and insurance companies to verify patient information and resolve any issues that may arise. Additionally, you will be responsible for responding to patient calls to facilitate and manage new patient orders, refills, and other pharmacy-reputed company inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately read, interpret, and enter prescriptions into our computer system, including calculating dosages and assigning directions
• Verify patient information and resolve any issues that may arise with physician offices and insurance companies
• Respond to patient calls to facilitate and manage new patient orders, refills, and other pharmacy-reputed company inquiries
• Utilize computer software to reputed company data entry tasks, including typing, keyboarding, and navigating Windows-based applications
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to reputed company's policies and procedures
• Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize tasks to meet productivity and quality standards

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a reputed company field (preferred but not required)
• Valid Illinois Pharmacy Technician license
• At least 6 months of experience working in a pharmacy or healthcare setting
• At least 6 months of experience working with Windows-based applications, including reputed company Office, web navigation, and email applications
