Job Overview

This internship program offers a minimum commitment of 8 weeks during the Summer 2025 Season, providing practical exposure to various engineering activities with the support of our senior staff. Key Responsibilities

As a Waterfront Engineering Fast Attack Submarines Construction and Testing - 2025 Engineering Summer Intern, you may be responsible for the following tasks:

• Providing troubleshooting support on submarines
• Investigating and documenting technical responses to non-conformances
• Supporting emergent issue problem resolution
• Resolving supplier product issues
• Modifying technical manuals and publications
• Performing calculations
• Communicating with Navy customers reputed company technical submittals
• Investigating and documenting design changes
• Submitting test procedure modifications
• Participating in ship testing
• Preparing for and executing maintenance and modernization availabilities

Essential Qualifications

To be qualified for this position, you must:

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Be a US citizen
• Be able to successfully pass a medically supervised drug screen and background reputed company
• Be enrolled full-time at a college or university
• Have completed your Freshman year prior to the start of the internship
• Be available to work 40 hours per week for a minimum of eight (8) consecutive weeks between May 2025 to September 2025
• Be pursuing a Bachelor or Masters of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Structural/Civil Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Marine Engineering
