Job Summary
We're seeking a Scheduling Specialist - Gastroenterology to join reputed company in Medford, NJ. As a Scheduling Specialist, you will be responsible for scheduling inpatient or outpatient procedures, informing patients and physician offices of prep instructions or other test requirements, and correctly identifying patients and matching medical records. You will also facilitate hospital care, act as the key contact reputed company the department for coordinating the admission process and scheduling surgical procedures, and handle a high volume of incoming and outgoing communication from the unit while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule inpatient or outpatient procedures, ensuring accurate input of surgical procedures and preference cards, orders
- Inform patients and physician offices of prep instructions or other test requirements
- Correctly identify patients, match medical records, and facilitate hospital care
- Act as the key contact reputed company the department for coordinating the admission process and scheduling surgical procedures
