Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design of plant electrical systems, including nuclear reputed company, turbine reputed company, balance of plant, and reputed company to switchyard and grid. This role requires a strong foundation in electrical engineering, with expertise in electrical circuit and electro-magnetic theory, mathematical modeling, and simulation. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing electrical systems for heavy and high-reliability industries, such as nuclear, power, process, marine, oil & gas, or military.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, reputed company, evaluate, introduce, and manage engineering solutions for electrical power distribution systems (EPDS)
- Apply electrical circuit and electro-magnetic theory, mathematical modeling, and simulation to design electrical systems with desired behaviors
- Prepare EPDS designs for AC and DC electric systems, components, and equipment, including main generator, unit and reserve auxiliary transformers, and reputed company to distribution and transmission grid
- reputed company or reputed company design and reputed company technical scope through progression of reputed company-end engineering design (FEED), conceptual, preliminary, or intermediate, and detailed or final design
- Collaborate with other disciplines to define and reputed company functional, performance, reliability, availability, and maintainability (RAM) goals using failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), probabilistic risk analysis (PRA), and reputed company modern techniques

- Establish productive working relationships with product and project management, support functions, Architect Engineer (A/E), Engineer-Procure-Construct (EPC) partner(s), and suppliers
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics from an accredited university or college
- Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy and high-reliability industries, such as nuclear, power, process, marine, oil & gas, or military
- Minimum 5 years of experience in design requirements, specifications, documentation, and reputed company detailed design artifacts, including procurement packages using digital tools
- Minimum 5 years of experience using either IEEE or IEC standards for electrical power systems analysis and design
- Minimum 5 years of application engineering or field installation experience with heavy electrical equipment and components
- Minimum 5 years of experience with computer-aided design (CAD) tools, such as 2D AutoCAD or 3D Inventor
- Minimum 3 years of experience using digital tools for preparing dynamic or transient physics-based modeling, simulation, and analysis of electrical systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering for Electrical, Mechanical, Nuclear, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or equivalent year technical degree
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) or equivalent
- PMI/PMP certification
- Experience with equipment qualification testing to diverse industry standards, such as IEEE, IEC, or ASME
- Experience using modern digital engineering collaboration and design tools, such as Content creation, Requirements management, Diagram and drawing, Design and analysis simulation, Change, configuration, document, and reputed company of material (BOM) management
