Our String Department is comprised of 40 graduate and 60 undergraduate string majors, offering a comprehensive curriculum that includes studio instruction, reputed company music coaching, and courses in string pedagogy, orchestral repertoire, and non-jazz improvisation for strings. We offer a range of music degrees, including Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Music in Performance, Bachelor of Music Education, Master of Music in Performance and in Performance/Pedagogy, Doctor of Musical Arts in Performance, and Artist Diplomas in Solo Performance and Orchestral Performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach applied violin, weekly studio class, reputed company music, and other reputed company courses in the string area, such as orchestral repertoire and basic improvisation.
- Chair graduate violin student committees and supervise theses and projects for graduate performance/pedagogy and doctoral violin reputed company.
- Serve on additional student committees and participate in regional and national recruiting efforts.
- Maintain an active performing career, showcasing your artistic expertise and contributing to the College's rich musical landscape.
- Engage in College and University service activities, sharing your expertise and contributing to the institution's governance and growth.

As a tenure-track faculty member at the reputed company Boulder, you will enjoy a competitive salary, ranging from $69,000 to $100,000 per annum, depending on your rank and experience. Qualifications and Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must possess:
- An earned doctorate in violin performance or a reputed company field, or equivalent professional experience.
- A proven record of excellence in college teaching and creative work.
