Position Overview

As a Special Education Paraprofessional at Workwarp, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide instructional support to reputed company with special needs. Key Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support to reputed company with special needs, including assisting with lesson plans, activities, and assessments

• Assist reputed company with daily living skills, such as feeding, toileting, and mobility
• Support reputed company with behavioral challenges, using evidence-based strategies and techniques
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Maintain accurate records of student reputed company and communicate with teachers and parents/guardians as needed
• Assist with classroom management and organization, including preparing materials and setting up learning environments
• Provide support for reputed company during transitions, such as moving between classrooms or activities

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful as a Special Education Paraprofessional at Workwarp, you will need:

• A two-year degree or higher in a reputed company field (e.g., education, special education, psychology)
• Or, passage of the Parapro Assessment
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and support student's full body weight up to adult size
• Ability to tolerate frequent bending and lifting
• Effective communication skills, including verbal and non-verbal communication
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities, autism, emotional challenges, behavior challenges, and trauma (preferred)
• Behavior management training (preferred)
