Job Overview

As a Substitute Teacher with Scoot Education, you will have the opportunity to work in various schools across Southeast Los Angeles, including Lynwood USD, ABC USD, Lifeline Education Charter Schools, Green Dot Public Schools, Ingenium Schools, reputed company, Alliance Public Schools, KIPP SoCal, and more. You will be responsible for providing high-quality educational experiences for reputed company, building relationships with staff and the school community, and demonstrating flexibility and initiative in high-stress situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide engaging and interactive lessons for reputed company in various subjects, including Kinder, Early Years, Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle, High, SpEd, Special Ed, Resource Specialist, IEP, Paraprofessional, Teaching Aide, Teaching Assistant, Instructional Assistant, reputed company Aide, Yard Supervisor, Math, Science, STEM, English, ELA, History, Social Studies, PE, Physical Education, Music, Art, Drama, and Theatre Studies
• Build relationships with reputed company, staff, and the school community to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Demonstrate flexibility and initiative, particularly in high-stress situations
• Continuously reflect and seek feedback to improve teaching practices and student outcomes
• Take a TB Risk Assessment and Live reputed company (cost covered by Scoot Education)

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Background in education and/or passion for education

• 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit or CA Teaching Credential (preferred)
