Job Summary

We are seeking a full-time Nursing Academic Coach to provide academic support and guidance to nursing reputed company in our Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Associate of Applied Science in Nursing (ADN), and Vocational Nursing (VN) programs. The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing education, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. As a Nursing Academic Coach, you will be responsible for providing academic remediation, facilitating student academic development, and assisting reputed company with study skills, test-taking strategies, and computer software.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide academic support and guidance to nursing reputed company in BSN, ADN, and VN programs
• reputed company and implement effective enrichment materials and methods to enhance student learning
• Remediate referred nursing reputed company and facilitate student academic development
• Assist reputed company with study skills, reputed company setting, and test-taking strategies, including HESI NCLEX-RN test-taking strategies
• reputed company, manage, and direct a peer tutorial program as needed
• Evaluate the tutoring system for reputed company improvement
• reputed company reputed company on knowledge of relevant nursing theory and clinical issues, as well as teaching methods
• Attend Department Committee and Faculty Council meetings as deemed necessary
• Complete other duties as assigned

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Nursing or reputed company field with at least 6 graduate semester hours in Nursing
• A minimum of two years working as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Texas Registered Nurse License
• Clear criminal history with no felony record
• Clear drug screen

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate Degree level teaching experience
• A minimum of 3 years academic educational experience
• Tutoring experience preferred
• Standardized testing and best practices for remediation experience
