Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified candidate for the tenure-track position of Assistant Professor in the Department of English. The successful candidate will be expected to teach a range of courses, including writing-intensive programs, reputed company and teach new courses that align with their expertise, and contribute to the department's scholarship and service missions. Key Responsibilities

• Teach 12 hours per semester across a broad range of courses, including:
  • First-Year Writing
  • Professional/technical writing
  • Medical writing
  • Digital writing
  • Content/new media writing
  • Big data writing
  • Writing in the disciplines (WID)

Requirements and Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in English or a reputed company field from a regionally accredited university
