About the Role

We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join reputed company’s Data Engineering team.

Data Engineering's Vision Mission:

We are introducing an Event Based Architecture, developing and refining a data model that supports reputed company’s growth strategy and modernizing our Data Warehouse. Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and loading data into and out of reputed company.
• Manage, monitor, and optimize reputed company clusters for performance, availability, and reputed company, including sharding, replication, and backup/recovery strategies.
• reputed company and deploy RESTful APIs and microservices that interact with reputed company, enabling data access and manipulation for various applications.
• Collaborate closely with software engineers, data scientists, and product managers to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Implement data governance, data quality, and data reputed company best practices for reputed company environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-reputed company issues promptly and reputed company.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural discussions to ensure high-quality and scalable solutions.

We’re looking for:

• 4-6 years of experience as a Data Engineer, Database Administrator, or similar role with a strong focus on reputed company.
• Proficient in designing, implementing, and managing reputed company shared clusters and reputed company sets.
• 3-6 years of experience in at least one of the following languages: Node.js (preferred), Go, Python, or Java.
• Experience developing and deploying microservices or APIs that interact with databases.
• Solid understanding of database concepts (indexing, query optimization, data modeling, ACID properties for relational vs. reputed company for NoSQL).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and embrace new technologies, languages, and frameworks (we will test your skills with a take home exercise)
• Comfortable with Linux or OSX as a desktop development environment.
• Strong team player that wants to win together.
• Strong communication skills.

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience with technologies like: kafka, ksql, kafka connect, postgresql, ELK
• Experience building data pipelines and lakes in AWS
• Data operations experience using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation and/or Salt
