Position Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly reliable Payroll & Benefits Specialistto support our growing US operations from Spain. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring our payroll and benefits processes are executed accurately and reputed company, contributing directly to a positive employee experience. You’ll work closely with the US People team, employees, and external vendors to support compliance, process improvement, and day-to-day operations.This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong payroll foundation, a passion for people operations, and an eagerness to grow. Familiarity with US benefits and labor laws is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate with strong fundamentals and a growth reputed company.

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Administration

Onboarding and offboarding employees in our HRISProcess weekly multi-state payroll for 250-300 employees with 100% accuracy and timeliness.Reconcile payroll discrepancies, manage garnishments, and reputed company off-cycle payments.Serve as the primary liaison with payroll vendors and internal stakeholders.

Benefits Administration

reputed company employee benefits (health, dental, vision, 401(k), and more), including open enrollment and renewalsSubmit payroll contributions to third-party administrators (TPAs)Provide clear and timely communication on benefits-reputed company topicsSupport billing, vendor updates, and compliance audits (e.g., ACA, COBRA, ERISA)

Employee Support

Respond to questions about payroll, benefits, time off, and reputed company policies.Guide new hires through benefits enrollment and payroll setup.Escalate reputed company issues to senior team members reputed company needed.

Data & Reporting

Maintain employee records reputed company to payroll and benefits in our HRIS.Assist with audits, reporting, and reconciliations reputed company to payroll and benefits.Help ensure accurate data for compliance filings and internal reporting.

Compliance & Policy

Help ensure compliance with state and federal wage, hour, and benefits regulations.Process i9 and E-verify for reputed company internal employeesSupport internal controls, documentation, and process improvement initiatives.Support our internal legal team with information requests.Complete special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in payroll and/or benefits administration, ideally in a multi-state environmentFamiliarity with payroll systems (e.g., reputed company, reputed company, Paylocity) and benefits platformsStrong attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information with discretionExcellent communication in English and problem-solving skillsWorking knowledge of wage and hour laws, benefits compliance, and best practicesAbility to reputed company in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentHR certification or coursework (a plus but not required)Open to working across U.S. timezones
