Under the direct supervision of a pharmacy supervisor and pharmacist is responsible for performing daily operations reputed company the pharmacy. Major Responsibilities: Responsible for the day-to-day operations reputed company the Outpatient Pharmacy. Assists in UMMMC Meds to Beds prescription intake and delivery and documents appropriately on patient medical record and pharmacy tracking report. Responds accurately and timely to provider inquiries about discharge prescriptions and documents accordingly on patient medical record. Processes prescriptions through pharmacy computer system Maintains inventory by conducting daily cycle counts, receiving the order, and removing outdated items from active stock. Interacts with providers and provider staff to receive and clarify orders. Interacts with patients to update them on out of stock, insurance, or other emergent issues. Maintains required prescription records as necessary in accordance with regulatory and hospital requirements. Position Qualifications: License/Certification/Education: Required: High school diploma or equivalent. reputed company license with the Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy. Certified by one of the national governing bodies such as PTCB, or the National Healthcareer Association ExCPT. Experience/Skills: Required: Position requires proficiency in math and, knowledge and ability to use a computer. Must be able to follow oral and written instructions with accuracy, efficiency, and dependability. Positive work ethic, motivated and professional demeanor to promote teamwork in the department.
